FAQ
Q: What is It's Canon™?
A: This is a zine composed of various works by members of the Pokemon OCxCanon community! This isn't some big project or anything of the sort. It's just a lighthearted celebration of the franchise as a whole and of the characters that many of us (begrudingly) love and care for.

Q: Do I need to have an OC? Can I use a CanonxCanon ship?
A: As super valid as those ships are, I'm afraid that's not what this zine is for! Each piece does not necessarily need to feature any "ship" but any and all submitted work must include an original character/self-insert.

Q: Is there a limit to how many ships there can be with a certain character?
A: You can rest easy, Leon Stans, because there is no cap on character ships.

Q: Any restrictions on which ships are allowed?
A: Absolutely no Pokephilia or ships involving minors are allowed.

Q: Can I submit NSFW material?
A: This zine is to remain as SFW as possible so no 18+ material will be allowed.

Q: Can writers apply?
A: Sure! Where would we as a society be without our wonderful fanfic authors? That said, there will be a word limit imposed (right now we're looking at around 3k words.) Further information will be available at a later date.

Q: Do I need to submit exclusive art? Can I submit a finished piece?
A: While I would prefer accepted artists to make a new piece for the zine, I'm not about to make this a hard requirement or anything. If there's a piece you're exceptionally proud of that you would love to showcase here then by all means!

Q: How big will the zine be?
A: In terms of content, I honestly don't know! It depends on the amount of submissions/interest. In terms of the size of the physical zine, I plan to have it printed at 8.5" x 11" portrait but this may change.

Q: Will the zine only be available in physical form?
A: Nope! A digital .PDF will be available to download for free once the zine is completed. The physical version is just a fun extra and my way of saying thanks. ♡
